Meet New AAHRPP Board Member Amal Al Omari, PhD
Amal Al Omari, PhD, is the Chief Scientific Officer at King Hussein Cancer Center, the first organization in Jordan to attain AAHRPP accreditation. She also is the first representative of an international organization to serve on the AAHRPP Board.
CAN Fosters Connection Among Accredited Organizations
The Collaborative AAHRPP Network (CAN) met before the 2023 AAHRPP Conference to weigh in on pressing matters of today and tomorrow, including accreditation standards and metrics; assessing quality; and diversity, equity, inclusion, & accessibility (DEIA).

On the 10th anniversary of her appointment as AAHRPP President and CEO, Elyse I. Summers, JD, looks back with gratitude and pride on a decade marked by accomplishment and the emergence of a more collegial, supportive “AAHRPP 2.0.” With continued support from the research community, she and the AAHRPP team stand ready for the challenges ahead.
